He Heals the Brokenhearted

While we are in the time of the Covid Pandemic, God wants reveal Himself as healer not only of our physical bodies, but also of our emotional brokenness and woundedness. Marelize shares about God’s heart for the brokenhearted and how He wants to heal, by likening His process of healing to how olive oil was used in Bible times on wounds, to bring soothing and healing.

Ps. 147:2 Luke 10:34 Song 1:3 Luke 4:18 Isa. 1:6 Ps. 34:18 Isa. 41:10 Isa. 57:15 Ps. 51:17

The ‘dunamis’ Power in Jesus’ Name

Marelize shares about her experience of being infected with the Covid 19 virus, how the Lord prepared her for this journey, and about Jesus’ nature and power to save, to heal and to deliver from pestilence.

She shares from the book of Luke the different ways in which Jesus healed the sick, and in particular what happened when the woman with the flow of blood touched the hem of His garment. This woman was someone who had an understanding of His power, or as it is called in Greek, His ‘dunamis’, and she therefore had an expectation that she would be healed.

To understand the depth of His power, we need to understand the meaning of Jesus’ name, that He would save, or as it is called in Greek, that He would ‘sozo’, which also means heal, or deliver, His people from their sin and from the effects of sin.

May all who need His healing, experience His power and nature, to heal, and to deliver, especially in this time of the Covid Pandemic.

The Virgin and the Lamp Oil – an Assessment of 2020

On the last day of 2020 Marelize shares about looking back over the past year, and assessing your growth in your relationship with God. She uses the plants (Pomegranate, Henna, Myrrh, Spikenard, Saffron, Calamus, Cinnamon, Frankincense & Aloe) in the garden of the bride, who was ready to meet her bridegroom in Song of Solomon, as yardsticks of measuring our growth in the different areas of our spiritual lives. Some of these examples are – growth in intimacy with God, growth in protecting and advancing His kingdom, growth in the knowledge of His word, in speaking His word, and in living according to His word. The Vessel of Gold, the Cedar Tree and the Pandemic

The tree called the cedar of Lebanon has many lessons for us as Christians, with its exceptional height, and breadth and root system.

The Bible says that the righteous shall grow like the cedar of Lebanon. This includes growing to become a vessel of gold, useful for God our Master and prepared for every good work. This is crucial at this time of the Covid 19 Pandemic.

God reveled Himself as the God who heals, as Yahweh Rapha, for the first time when He healed the bitter waters of Mara so that weary people could be refreshed and restored. His heart is to heal us. Why do we then often suffer because of sickness? Marelize shares some personal testimonies and also shares about the different reasons why we get sick, and different ways in which God may choose to heal us. Praying Over the Waters in Your Area

What is happening in and around the waters in your area has a spiritual effect on the water, which can have a spiritual effect on creation surrounding the waters. Marelize uses the example of the quarreling that took place where Isaac’s servants dug wells, where years later, in the same area the Israelites contended with Moses about their lack of water. The place was even named after the strife that happened there.

God created water for various purposes, amongst others, water is created – to bring life, to bring praise to God, to quench thirst, for cleansing and for healing. Our spiritual enemy will do all in his power to cause water to bring the opposite – to cause death, to cause destruction, to cause sicknesses or to leave filth because of contamination.

The Christian has dominion to speak to God’s creation, that it will come in line with God’s purposes – Marelize gives guidelines in how to pray and do prophetic actions at the water sources in your area.

Anointed for His Purpose

This radio talk is about the Christian’s anointing connected to his calling and purpose.

God called and set apart Jeremiah in his mother’s womb (Jer 1). The same was recorded by the Apostle Paul. Though this happened before birth, the anointing on Paul’s calling only started when he was stopped on the road to Damascus, when Jesus Christ was revealed to him (Gal 1:15-16). True to the meaning of his name in Hebrew, which means ‘little’, he belittled others before his Jesus-encounter. The derivative of that Hebrew word, means to be stopped, describes the nature of his encounter. This leads us, to one way in which we can know God’s calling and purpose on our lives – by looking at the meaning of our names.

Your name may have a meaning that is in line with God’s calling on your life. But if your name has a negative meaning, something that is contrary to God’s calling, or not in line with what Ps 139 says about you, then you need to renounce that meaning (2 Cor 4:2 &10:3-5). Jabez is a good example of that (1 Chron 4:9-10). Marelize shares on how to do it, how to deal with strongholds connected to the meaning of your name, and how to declare God’s meaning and identity connected to your name. She also deals with examples of being anointed for a purpose, from the life of David (1 Sam 15,16), Jehu (2 Kings 9), and Jehoshabeath (2 Chron 22). Other scriptures – Is 49:1 Song 8:6

The Mercy of God over the Nation – about the Myrtle, the Angel & The Red Horse

When a nation is in a time in which it seems like corruption and criminal activities are on the increase, it is time in which God is calling His children as the Royal Priesthood, to stand in the gap, and to pray for God’s mercy.

Marelize uses the vision of Zechariah, of the Angel of the Lord on a red horse in front of a myrtle bush, to illustrate how intercession at the right time, happened for Israel, with Daniel doing it at about the same time, so that God’s promise given through Jeremiah could be fulfilled. Different aspects of the vision, like the myrtle bush in the deep place and the red horse, gives meaning to the vision, as the Angel of the Lord stood in the gap for God’s people. This is compared with Esther, whose Hebrew name in English, is Myrtle, who also stood in the gap for her people at the right time.

It is time, to stand in the gap for South Africa, but also for the United States of America in this regard.

Do Not Fight in This Battle, Rather Position Yourselves, Stand and See His Salvation

There are times in which God wants us to fight back when the enemy is attacking us, by using our spiritual weapons of warfare. Then there are other times in which He doesn’t want us to fight, but to position ourselves, to stand and to see what He is doing to rescue us from the attack.

This is what happened with king Jehoshaphat and his people. When they heard of the enemy approaching, they were scared, and in reaction they sought the Lord. Jehoshaphat then prayed a prayer, by declaring who God is, and by declaring what He had done for them in the past. Then he approached God as judge, to state their case, and reminded God of His promises. In bowing down before God, Jehoshaphat and his people worshipped and praised God. Then in the midst of their worship and praise, God intervened, and caused the enemy to turn on themselves, so that every one was destroyed, the Israelites were blessed, and God was honored for what He did.

Positioning yourself, and standing, while facing the enemy thus entails praise and worship God amidst the attack, but also declaring what He will do to the enemy. Marelize uses Psalm 3, with its declarations of God being our shield and the lifter of our head, to God striking the enemy on the cheekbone and braking its teeth, to illustrate how God will turn things around for us. 2 Chron 20:17 2 Chron 17:10 1 Sam 17

Time to Pray for S.A. And U.S.A.

The nations of South Africa and America have similar callings. America is a world influencer while South Africa is an influencer on the continent of Africa. Praying scripture, given by the Holy Spirit. for this specific time, over these countries, is what this session is about. Marelize also shares about the Iron Anointing, using Jeremiah’s anointing as iron pillar and Micah’s anointing with the iron horn, to pray over God’s chosen leaders for this time in both of these countries. 2 Sam.18 Ps.2
