Cedar Menorah (Light Wood Seven-Branched Candlestick)

This hand crafted menorah, made from the fragrant Cedar wood, is in the shape of the Hebrew letters that spells Jesus’ name in Hebrew.

It has seven branches, similar to the candlestick that burned in the tabernacle as a sign of everlasting light. This was fulfilled in Jesus as our Everlasting Light (Ex.25 & John 8:12). The number 7 represents His completeness – shining in our hearts, is the light of the knowledge, of the glory of God, in the face of Jesus (2 Cor.4:6).

Cedar wood represents everlasting life and strength. This is due to the strength of the tree truck  – it will not crack in flood or drought, but only in response to the Lord’s voice (Ps. 29:5). This symbolism is also rooted in the longevity of the Cedars of Lebanon, some said to be more than 2,000 years old. For this reason, cedar wood was included in the healing ceremony for the leper, where it signified new life in the place of death (Lev. 14).

It further symbolizes God’s life and strength revealed in the midst of human weakness (2 Cor. 12:9–10).

Each menorah is handcrafted to highlight the unique beauty of the natural wood grain.
